La necropoli viene occupata dalla met\u00e0 del I secolo a.C., con un allineamento su assi distinti e una sovrapposizione di tombe che si estende fino al III secolo d.C.. Le varie tipologie sepolcrali attestate al suo interno &#8211; recinti, monumenti colombari, tombe ad edicola e a cassone \u2013 mostrano usi e costumi funerari dell\u2019epoca e sottolineano come l&#8217;iniziale prevalenza del rito crematorio verr\u00e0 soppiantato, in et\u00e0 medio imperiale, da quello inumatorio.
